Separator cylinder

OPTIMA slotted screen baskets for screw press separators are used in the agricultural sector for solid/liquid separation of cattle and pig manure. A screw forces the manure horizontally through a slotted screen cylinder to be screened and pressed. Further uses are to be found in biogas installations, slaughterhouses or in the production of economic bedding (green bedding).

The cylinders produced on our spiral welding machines offer a high degree of fitting accuracy to give the best possible press performance. Our production department can consider your individual requirements and manufacture custom-made products that guarantee optimal application. Steel of grade 1.4301 is normally used as material; the standard slot widths are 0.50 mm and 0.75 mm and 1.00 mm.
