Johanniter call for donations

Plastic protection face shield made in 3D printer

According to MGA Medical (Mobility goes Additive), the ambulance and disaster protection of Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. has shown an urgent need for protective equipment, which we would like to point out here once again.

For the more than 23,000 full-time and about 40,000 volunteers, personal protective equipment against an infection with SARS-CoV2 is urgently needed.

The most pressing need is for 5,000 protective face shields to be used in in-house training. In this way, everyone who provides daily care should be protected and adequately prepared for the special circumstances of care.

In a donation call, MGA Medical asks all printer manufacturers, 3D printing service providers and maker spaces for their support.

The STEINHAUS company is already using the existing 3D printer to manufacture these parts to support the important work of the aid organization.

If you also want to and can donate, you can find further details and instructions at medicalgoesadditive.org.
